Yesterday, I learned a new word: "perigee".
I probably should have known that, but I admit I did not. Perigee is the point when the moon is closest to earth. A perigee happens only every 18 years or so. A perigee moon looks 14% bigger and 30% brighter.
While I was waiting for the event with my camera, I was rewarded with a beautiful sunset.
